excellent access to parks and scenic trails for weekend wanderers

Our family stayed here for three nights and loved being just a short drive from picnicking by Martis Creek Lake and enjoying the breathtaking views along the Tahoe Rim Trail, which were perfect for our weekend strolls.

It was just a strong match for a weekend vacation in Truckee with good value for money. The mattresses could be more comfortable, but we appreciated the easy access to nearby family and activities. Check the air conditioning if you're sensitive to noise.

Family with children appreciate the location

So the location was fine with a great view over the village and it felt like a little city in the forest. We also had a bear hanging around our condo, which was kinda cool right until it wasn't.

It wasn't cheap but you know what, it was still acceptable for what we got.

Our family with children faced numerous issues during our 4-night stay. The room felt neglected, with a strong odor and broken amenities. Unfortunately, despite multiple emails to the management, we received no support.

The kids loved the free summer lift access, allowing us to explore the stunning North Lake Tahoe area. Having our non-service dog with us also made the experience even more enjoyable, as we could share the adventure together!

In my wife’s opinion, more attention should be given to the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms.

Our stay in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was highlighted by a clean and quiet atmosphere, complemented by a balcony perfect for relaxation. However, the check-in process was uninviting, lacking personal interaction as it was conducted at a distant sales office. While the friendly staff member at check-in brightened our experience, the overall amenities and room features fell short of expectations, lacking appeal beyond the balcony. The separate shower/toilet area was a minor plus, but did not compensate for the room's shortcomings.
